Mosquitoes and other helpful hints

We will be spraying the pit/start/finish area before everyone arrives to help knock down the mosquito population. Please be advised to show up with a good repellant.

Last year a lot of people were also suprised at how wet their feet got. Make sure you bring several change of socks. Consider getting out your cold weather neoprene booties to keep your toes dry. You'll be glad you brought them.

Is pre-riding allowed Saturday morning?

I am going to go out on a limb and say that the mosquitoes will not be a problem. With this cold weather, their activity will be greatly curbed. I'm sure people will see an occasional bite here and there, but nothing to worry about.

I hope you guys aren't still planning on spraying the pit area. Running around all sweaty in spandex in an area that has just have nerve toxins sprayed all over isn't very appealing to me.
